The Campus Recreation Center (CRC) is gearing up for fall semester with locker renovations, the annual maintenance week closure, and all staff training. Make sure you stay aware of these upcoming changes to the schedule and plan your workouts accordingly.

All CRC lockers will be replaced with new antimicrobial, GreenGuard℠ water resistant and mildew proof lockers. The current lockers from the 1996 Olympics will be retired during this upgrade. The shower partitions will also all be replaced during this renovation. Due to this change, locker usage will be limited. Find the full schedule of renovations below:

  • July 22–August 2: male and female aquatic locker rooms will be closed. Patrons can utilize the lockers in the main area.
  • July 31–August 11: fourth floor restrooms will be closed.
  • August 2: all items in the male and female room main locker area must be removed by 10 p.m. otherwise contents will be removed and bagged and unavailable until August 14.
  • August 3–11: CRC will be closed for annual maintenance week. Men and women’s main lockers and shower partitions replaced.
  • August 12–14: male and female aquatic locker rooms available as day lockers for free usage. Main locker room will be closed.
  • August 15: all locker rooms will reopen.

In addition to locker renovations, the CRC will be closed on August 1 from 7:30 a.m. – noon for all staff training. Additionally, the CRC will be fully closed for the annual maintenance week from August 3–11 with a partial opening from August 12–14. During this closure, CRC staff will remove all equipment, deep clean, paint, and perform yearly preventative maintenance before the new semester kicks off.
