The highly requested and inaugural employee mentoring program, MentorTech: Professional Partnerships, successfully concluded its debut with 142 participants. 

The highly requested and inaugural employee mentoring program, MentorTech: Professional Partnerships, successfully concluded its debut.

The program received overwhelming interest from campus, and as a result, accepted 142 Institute employees into mentor/mentee professional partnerships.

These partnerships contribute to Georgia Tech Human Resource’s (GTHR) goal of improving and promoting workforce development. GTHR is exceptionally proud of the 2018 partners and their commitment to the program.

The six-month partnerships kicked off in February, and collectively the pairs invested more than 1,140 hours.

“Serving as a mentor enriched both of our careers and provided us with a valuable, rewarding partnership,” said Klara Grodzinsky.

Program participants had diverse needs, and were matched based on their individual interest in one of the following categories: General Career Guidance, Work/Life Transitions, Sponsor, and Technical competency.

“The paring of the mentor to mentee was simply amazing. I was paired with a Mentor who was identical to the career trajectory I want to pursue,” said Shirley Taylor.
